On the gaming zone – Xbox 360 games
It is known for the gaming community that the publishers will be putting out new games, they were ‘developing’ to go against the big guns of the holiday period. As a player, I have been thinking about the effects of the late releases, will it be good for the year 2009? Sure enough the mid-range games are driving in the hype, but only a fraction of gamers seem to find it appealing.

Examples of a mid-range game is Microsoft’s Tenchu developer’s Ninja Blade, It shows a game play of instant enjoyment, rather than finding it’s enjoyment long term. Halo Wars is also a game that players enjoy, given the low-key release and genre.

Games that focused on the recent movies are typically seen in the mid-range fodder, this year’s been unexpectedly decent. Wanted: Weapons of Fate, Chronicles of Riddick, The Wheelman, Afro Samurai, and 50 cent; games that would normally be crushed by hardcore crowd, because of the outside world the gamer. Riddick however is still worth seeing.
Sporting Titles have been known to be Franchise experimentation. WWE Legends of Wrestlemania is a success for 2009, surpassing Smackdown vs. Raw. EA’s Euro 2008 game also exceeds FIFA 08, and had resulted to the better FIFA 09.
Of course the chance of overlooking the major projects, such as Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter is inevitable, but in comparison to the past months the Triple-A releases are getting scarce. To which, by in every possible way gave the simpler games their time in the spotlight, which is fine with all of the other gamers, and myself.
