Microsoft’s Fable 3 is Unveiled
Peter Molyneux unveiled Fable 3 at the press meet at GamesCom convention, the other day. He talked incessantly about the game that is created by Lionhead Studios and the astonishing features of the game story. He also made an odd remark about the faulty concepts of RPG’s such as Fable, which existed from the eighties, and the need of a complete change in its conception to execution.

You might be speculating if this has any connection with the allusions we have been receiving about the venture, Lionhead is developing. Lionhead has been displaying portraits of icons that are part of history in their site. Molyneux stated that the player’s objective in Fable 3 will be to become the monarch of Albion. According to Molyneux, a player was a leader of men or a champion in Fable 1 and also in Fable 2. This time he or she is going to govern Albion as its rightful king or queen and adds that he wants the players to be conscious of their identities as a sovereign.
A gamer dons the character of an offspring of the Hero of Fable 2. The initial part of the game is focused on acquiring collaborations and commencing a rebellion against the present king. Finally the gamer deposes the horrendous despot of Albion from power. Nevertheless, assurances such as improving the conditions of the poor, lowering taxes, etc., need to be made to finally overcome all obstacles. As an illustration in order to alleviate poverty, one can use the funds in the treasure chest or the money can be kept in abeyance for the sole use of the player, but either way there is a cost attached to it. As the monarch, the player’s family become the king or the queen, prince or princess.
Fable 3 is expected to be available in the early part of next year, and may be, not that early according to Molyneux.
